Donations of historical clothing and items
for our museum collection are greatly
appreciated.
If you would like to donate an item to the
Sayreville Historical Society, please use
our
property donation form it's a PDF
document that you can print out.
Please try to include as much information as
you can about the item, its owner or the
person who used it, when and how it was
used.
Fill in all the fields, and bring your item
along with the form to the museum. Any
Sunday 1:30-4:00 PM.
Cash Donations
As of January 31, 2007 the Sayreville
Historical Society is exempt from federal
income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the
Internal Revenue Code. We are now classified
as a public charity. All contributions to us
are deductible if no consideration is
received in return. For example, dinner
tickets are not deductible. Contributions of
$250 or more require a written statement
from us, listing the cash contribution or a
description of the donated item to be
included with the donor’s income tax filing.
